About The Role

 

Reporting to the Category Manager, this role involves administration support, data analysis supplier engagement and co-ordination and ensuring accurate product information to help drive category performance and profitability. You will be responsible for a variety of support tasks including but not limited to merchandising, database health check, preparing promotions and liaising with internal & external stakeholders

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Category Manager with category planning, execution, and key projects
  • Create and maintain product codes and ensure accurate product data management
  • Conduct COSnet data health checks in line with company strategy
  • Manage HubSpot queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Source non-ranged products through preferred partners for tenders and special Sales requests
  • Coordinate with suppliers on product information, samples, and required documentation
  • Assist with promotional planning, supplier submissions, and accurate internal system setup
  • Compile and prepare media kits, supplier reviews, competitor pricing updates, and sales training support

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain (advantageous)
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a fast-paced buying, category, or procurement support role
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and data management skills, including experience with inventory systems and advanced Excel
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and time management skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation capabilities
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team
