About The Role Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing relationships and business strategies with large, often multi-location organisations that operate on a national scale. This role ensures that service delivery and account management are consistent across all regions and that the organisation’s offerings are tailored to the client’s national needs. Key Responsibilities - Account Portfolio Management: Manages a portfolio of national accounts, ensuring comprehensive service and support across all accounts delivering on continuous improvement plans through the life of the customer agreement.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Develops and executes sales strategies to achieve revenue targets through existing and new business at a national level.
- Strategic Planning: Develops account plans that align with both the client's and the company’s long-term strategies. Assesses market trends, client goals, and activity to anticipate future needs.
- Contract Management: Oversees contract renewals, adjustments, and compliance with national agreements. Including commercial review anniversaries and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Market Analysis: Monitors trends in relevant markets and industries to provide strategic recommendations for client development.
- Problem Resolution: Acts as an escalation point for resolving complex issues affecting national accounts.
- New business development lens through networking and strength of relationship.
- Relationship management: actively seeks to identify category influencers and decision makers to grow aggregated offer.
