About The Role

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting and recruiting qualified candidates by promoting employment opportunities and the COS brand, evaluating applicants through screening and interview processes to ensure alignment with required skills, experience, and culture compliment in white collar portfolios.

 

This role is a maternity leave cover contract, ending on 31st January 2027.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment/talent acquisition function on a national scale for white collar/corporate roles including Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, Procurement & Replenishment, Shared Services & Administrative roles.
  • Liaise with business leaders to identify clear role requirements, and create engaging and widely distributed job advertisements
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to deliver the strongest results to bring top talent into the business
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews and co-ordinate interviews with hiring leaders via our ATS (Expr3ss)
  • Complete pre-employment checks including conducting reference checks
  • Make employment offers, prepare and issue employment contracts and paperwork
  • Set up new employees in the Company's HRIS system (ConnX)
  • Maintain current job descriptions for all roles performed in the business
  • Ad hoc duties and project work as required

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field desirable
  • 3-4 years’ experience in recruitment and talent acquisition of white-collar roles
  • Strong interviewing, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet hiring deadlines.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices and applicant tracking systems (Expr3ss and LinkedIn)
  • Ability to influence and work with various stakeholders across the business
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Exceptional administration skills including excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think and act quickly on your feet
  • Attention to detail and accuracy levels
