About The Role

 

Reporting to the People Partner, the People Advisor plays a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the Logistics function within a fast-paced operational environment. With a strong focus on employee relations, the role provides hands on advice, coaching and support across a range of workplace matters, while driving consistent people practices and supporting organisational change initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day HR and employee relations advice, coaching and support to leaders and employees
  • Manage end to end employee relations matters including performance management, conduct, grievances and workplace concerns
  • Support compliant and consistent people practices across the business
  • Coach leaders to address issues early, manage difficult conversations effectively and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Escalate complex or high-risk ER matters to the People Partner and assist with investigations, documentation and process coordination
  • Support organisational change initiatives and people projects across the Logistics function
  • Maintain accurate employee relations records, reporting and documentation to support compliance and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a positive, safety-first culture within the organisation

 

About You

  • Degree qualified in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience in a HR or People Advisor role with strong employee relations exposure
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, workplace policies and industrial relations practices
  • Experience supporting blue collar or operational environments such as logistics, warehousing or manufacturing
  • Strong communication, coaching and relationship building skills with high attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required.
