About The Role

 

Reporting to the Solutions Installation Team Leader, you will be responsible for the end-to-end setup of commercial audio-visual systems along with furniture installations. This role focuses on secure wall-mounting, trolley erecting, hardware & software integration, along with installation and delivery of furniture and ensuring an optimal user experience through calibration and client training.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Install commercial displays, interactive screens, projectors, video walls, wall brackets, mobile trolleys, speaker mounts and specialised AV furniture in line with COS procedures and quality standards.

  • Assemble, wire and label equipment racks to system design schematics, install source devices, amplifiers, switches and control processors, and label cables clearly for future maintenance.

  • Test cable continuity, bandwidth and signal flow, inspect products and materials against operational standards, and resolve technical issues using a logical, practical approach.

  • Keep accurate installation reports, records and completion photos, work independently on customer sites, and communicate effectively with customers and the technical team.

  • Follow WHS requirements, including correct PPE use and safe ladder practices. Report site hazards to the Technical Installation Team Leader straight away, protect customer property, leave work areas clean and dispose of waste responsibly.

About You

 

To be successful for the role you must:

  • Have a current NSW driver's licence, plus a White Card and forklift licence

  • Solid knowledge of AV installations and what it takes to deliver a high-quality finish

  • Have a valid Working with Children Check

  • Demonstrated professional approach and ability to communicate effectively at all level

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Sound judgment, decision making and problem-solving capabilities
